“ Delicious and fresh food! We learned about this spot from several locals who love coming here. We had the coconut shrimp to start and they were amazing then had fish tacos for mains - super fresh and flavourful. You can’t go wrong! ”
“ Friends of us who live in winter on the island told us to go here. And they were right! It’s delicious and very close to the beach! We were there twice in the short time we had on Maui, so that says something :-)!! ”
“ This was our second time here and we had great meals both times. Love the surf board tables! You order your food at the counter on the way in and then they bring you your food. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, quick and efficient. ”
“ We were going to do a food tour with the fish tacos being our first stop! Unfortunately we couldn’t complete the food tour because we ended up loving our fish tacos so much that we ended up ordering another round while adding the clam chowder and kid’s fish and chips. The fish tacos are great. They’re even better with the tiger sauce. ”
“ Located upstairs. The place looked abandoned and closed for business, at first glance. Followed the crowd noise. This location is as delicious as the other that's consistently fantastic. Coconut shrimp is delicious and beautifully presented. We left full and satisfied, despite the loss of electricity during our visit. ”
“ very consistent simple lunch or dinner. the food here is fresh and there are relatively healthy options available. the tacos are a mix of ono and mahi mahi, and they’re super filling without being too heavy. it’s great to rely on the consistent quality at coconut’s! thank you to the staff who work so hard to help customers at both locations. you’re appreciated! ”
“ Very good spot to grab lunch. The coconut shrimp was good, but not my favorite I've had here on the island. The famous fish tacos were definitely the stars of the show. They were really fresh and the portions were huge! You get two per order and each one is served on its own plate because they are loaded so full. As soon as you take a bite half the toppings fall off. All 17 ingredients complement each other well, but I found its even better if you add a healthy drizzle of their tiger sauce, that really takes it over the top! ”
“ Our favorite fish tacos on Maui! This trip we also tried the kalua pork tacos and kalua pork sandwich. Also delicious! Prices are very reasonable for such delicious fresh food. We will always be back any time we are in Maui! ”
